Connect Rurals

Connect Rurals is a nonprofit organization focused on bridging the digital divide in rural and underserved communities

We provide STEM Education that include basic computer skills such as introduction to computing, productivity software and advanced skills such as coding. We're also committed to connecting communities to the Internet, thereby providing more opportunities.

We focus on serving rural, remote, and underserved communities. These communities are low-income, lack access to technology, have low literacy skills, and are not well represented.

The session will explore the challenges faced by rural and underserved communities in accessing information and communication technologies. We'll then discuss how DWeb technologies can bridge this gap such as by providing affordable Internet and necessary skills.

Talk/Presentation (40 Minutes)

The session will be in the format of a roundtable where participants will be given more time to speak as speakers. As such, anyone can join the session as a speaker or co-facilitator.
